    Two young professionals looking for city centre accommodation for 8 month period. Please help as we need to move in early January.

    Look on rent ie ,or daft.ie short term accomodation.

    Hello, I know from experience it can be really hard to get anything less than a year , unless you pay quite a lot of money. We needed something for 6 months as our house was being extended and we needed to move out. We were lucky as we took over the remaining 6 months of a year long lease that my husbands colleague had to break as he was going abroad..

    Would you move in with someone on a flatshare basis or something , making it clear it was just for 8 months? We were in a different situation as have kids so couldn't do that....
