After being impressed with the tips on here I thought I'd put up one that might be a bit of value tomorrow.

    Sea Cadet 7/1 e/w 14:20 Plumpton.

This horse was beaten by Absolute Shambles by 2 1/4 lengths 2 starts back. Sea Cadet is now rated 4lbs lower and has a 10lbs claimer on board.

In it's last start Sea Cadet finished 6 lengths third after making a horrendous error.

So therefore we have yet to see the true effect of this new 10 lbs allowance. The horse shaped well the last day, and although it has nt won a race in a long time I feel 7-1 is good value in this very weak race. The race it finished third in was a class 4 and the mistake it made was really bad, while this is a class 5.

Dont know if ill back him as have yet to have any look at the race with any great detail but i have in my tracker beside the name of
Rolling Maul. **Take note if he pops up in a handicap at Ffos Las

Runs in the 2.05 at Ffos Las tomorrow.
Has run in 3 decent novice events without getting to competitive at the business end, but he ran a solid second at Ffos las 2 starts back.
He has won 2 bumpers in Ffos Las also.
Its definitely not a plot or anything like that as it looks quite a competitive event from what i can see from a quick glance. However i do think he is capable of winning a race off this mark of 115.

    Currently 5/1.
In saying all of that i think im after convincing myself to have a bet on. ha. Will do after a quick run through the competition.

I was looking at this myself. I'm in 2 minds. I reckon rolling maul is a good ground horse and also believe he could be capable of getting into the 130's when fully wound up. The reason I'm in 2 minds is I'm trying to consider will they blow his cover today or took him away for something else later in the season. That said he'd probably want to be rated a good few lbs more to get into anything worth the money tucking him away for

Another I have a complete hunch on (nothing more) is chris gordons orse in the first. He's been running in ridiculous races lately red Sherlock, suerto salto, regal encore to name but a few of the winners and ran no sort of race coming to the business end tailing off or 10's of 20'ls lengths behind. He's in a C5 handicap today, he's out of old vic so should have no problem with the trip and chris Gordon's other horse absolute shambles is top weight and would possibly change the frame of the race if he wasn't in there. The other one I like in this race is the Mullins horse but for a price I'm going to stick a small bet on chris Gordon's horse sweet boy vic

Sea Cadet 4 th shaped well again but absolutely emptied trying to race easy winner.

Horse to avoid, travels very well but is old and empties. Having seen this race can see why I backed him. The winner would of won this race no matter what happened. Unlucky not to place though.

Just got to watch the race there. Cannot believe he went off 13/8. At least i wasnt the only 1 who thought he could win.
He did travel well and i am not sure if there are any excuses bar the ground(possibly)
Ill leave him in the tracker for the moment but im not sure i would be backing him again in similar races.

When April arrives...and a nice handicap..that's when to get on. Peter Bowen waits until all the other horses are bottomed out until he produces his for th early summer

I've been told that Bowen's yard is in a valley and his gallops are often unusable in mid winter so he lets his horses down and then brings them back in spring and early summer.
