Calf with swollen testicles

    Had cow calved this eve tight calving big ch calf the calf seems to have like very swollen testicles the size of a mature bull seems like fluid never seen anything like this before ...Anybody know what this is thanks in advance....

    Never see it in a calf but it is quite common in babies after a natural delivery. Swelling goes down after a day or two.
    Once they are soft and squishy then I would not be concerned. Also make sure he is pissing.

    Let him into a pennof heifer calves,could be a very early developer and mad for a jump!!!!!

    Yes it's not uncommon in humans, but can happen in calves and other animals, though i have not seen it myself

    Thanks for the replies i took the calf to the vet and she said she never seen anything like it before ....She said it was urine and traces of blood under the skin around the belly area and the sack was swollen like a mature bull and said it be lucky to live 24 hours ....well today its standing and sucklin the cow ....the belly has less fluid around it but sack still very large we see what happens strange one....

    Yes rho b she gave him colvasone and about another 5 needles of stuff in the vain one of them was to make him suck i managed to get a litre of beestings in him with a feeding bottle instead of dumping the milk in with the stomach tube ....
