Horizon SCART query

Inlaws have Horizon. Connected to main TV via HDMI which is all fine. Also connected is a video sender via SCART so output channel can be watched upstairs. Problem is unlike the old UPC box, the main TV has to be left on for the SCART output to work and this is daft. Is there any way to set the box to still be on even when the main (HDMI) TV is turned off?

I'm not at home to check... But if memory serves there is a setting on the Horizon box to specify the main tv connection. I'm only guessing that may help with your issue.

Curse this working on a Sunday!

Thanks for replying. Found the setting you are talking about, tried changing it to SCART and Auto but no joy. No matter what it is set to, once the main TV is turned off, the Horizon box seems to cut the output to the SCART also.

Thanks anyway, you can get back to work now lol!

    Scart Connection on Horizon
When HDMI is in use you cant use Scart same time to a different TV

But you should be able to connect Horizon Scart out to a video recorder or DVR using Scart in on Video Recorder or DVR
and then use Scart out or another video type out connection from the Video Recorder or DVR to a TV or use video sender via SCART from the Video Recorder or DVR that's connected to the Horizon

I have not tested this but Scart out from Horizon to a DVR is supposed to work same time when using HDMI
