    I've made smoked salmon mousse/paté in a blender before, turns out lovely.

    [Never seen dill as 'dill weed' before! Such a tasty way of phrasing it]

    I sure did!

    But generally I find that blender is great for soups and liquids but not great when there is any kind of harder texture (even just smoked salmon) and hence my question to all you experts here, will it actually work?

    Do you think it will be okay?
