    hi guys:

currently, I meet one question about Jobbrigde scheme.

I am one Non-Eu citizen, hold student visa under Irish graduate Scheme.
I am new graduate, so I am trying to find internship to gain my experience.
When I apply for some positions in jobbridge, the employer also ask me about the eligible.

Now, I just have one part-time job as waiter....

    In jobbridge website:
Have you been in receipt of any of the following for a minimum of three months?
    Jobseekers Allowance
    Jobseekers Benefit
    One Parent Family Payment
    Disability Allowance
Signing for social insurance contribution credits

But I didnot have anyone above. Can I sign for social insurance contribution credits?

I just come to Ireland for one year... does somebody have any ideas about that?

    Thanks

Can I sign for social insurance contribution credits?

You can only sign for credits if you are unemployed.

    Thanks for replying...

So if I get p45 and be unemployed, how long should I apply for internship on jobbridge?

Can I still have one part-time job?

    Thanks

Unlikely you'll qualify, the Graduate scheme was there so you can seek employment and apply for further permission to remain in the state under green card or work permit arrangements. NOT work under jobbridge.
    STAMP NUMBER 2
This person is permitted to remain in Ireland to pursue a course of studies on condition that the holder does not engage in any business or profession other than casual employment (defined as 20 hours per week during school term and up to 40 hours per week during school holidays) and does not remain later than a specified date. Also the person has no recourse to public funds unless otherwise provided.

To be eligible for a place as an intern you must have a live claim and be currently in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance/ Jobseekers Benefit/ One Parent Family Payment/ Disability Allowance or signing for Social Insurance Contribution Credits for 3 months (78 days) or more in the last 6 months.

I have been on JSA for more than 6 months and have been offered an jobbridge internship. Am I still eligible?

You are. Next step is for the organization that offered you the JobBridge Internship to "give you an UP51C form (Eligibility Form) to bring to your local
Social Welfare office to be completed and stamped..."

Thanks for letting me know. That's a relief, as its a job I know I will love! I don't get that 6 months bit. A bit confusing if you ask me!

Can non-Irish people participate in Jobbrigde scheme?? I'm from Croatia(EU) and I'm thinking of coming to Ireland to work and live but I don't have any experience in my expertise so I was thinking of doing some internship. I'm a fresh BSc of Informatics and because of my lack of experience, I don't think I will get a job so easily. Thanks very much!

You have to be in receipt / receiving a social welfare payment for a minimum period first to qualify

You would have to prove habitual residence to receive any payment ,if I'm correct see below for actual details ,
