Sci-fi sequel following a man haunted by the disappearance of his father, a computer programmer, as he tries to track him down. The two of them are sandwiched in between a Mandela program, i dont know what that says about it?

Its been years since i seen the first one & it looks like the Premiere of the sequel, is that the longest time for a sequel to come out?
I knew the second one was on, but didnt realise the first one was on, why is it that you have the dvd of the first one & the second not on dvd, that if you see it on tv you'll watch it first before the dvd, Lazy?

Is it ok for kids to watch, as only recently they were tellin me about Wreck it Ralph & i had mentioned Tron had something similar goin!

Tron Legacy is worth watching for the effects and the music alone

Back then it was setting the pace with the special effects, now its simple brilliance is in a league of its own.

Yeah the music is something else & you get 2 Jeff Bridges for the price of one & at one stage he says to the son after meeting Zeus who double crossed them, you're spoiling my zen, reminded me of 'The Big Lebowski'
Pretty much the same scenes are there, just updated special effects even after 28 yrs you cant help but not like it.

It was all going on back then as you had WarGames in 85 too

And to throw a TV show on it, "Tron: Uprising" was an excellent, alas shortly lived, cartoon. It was beautifully animated - one of the best looking I've seen. It never found an audience, perhaps somewhat because it was quite downbeat (especially for a show targeted at children). Real shame that it didn't get more screen time.

Well would you know, i was gonna mention that as i put Tron into the new search on Sky HD Box you get that show:

    Tron: Uprising
    (Childrens)
    Time - 00:50 to 01:15 (25 minutes long).
When - Sunday 15th December on Disney XD

This exciting new sci-fi animation, based on the succesful movies, features the voices of Elijah Wood as Beck and Bruce Boxleitner as Tron in this thrill-a-minute adventure set in a future world.

I didnt realise Disney is on that late, looks like they put the show on the graveyard slot & its got yer man from the film as well Bruce Boxleitner too, must take a look.
