No, I'd rather not look at Ryan Tubridy, Jedward, a Seoige and some puppet in a christmas jumper.

Yeah, I still buy it. The cover always come off shortly after it's bought, like clockwork.

Stopped buying the RTE guide ages ago, same old faces week after week. We get the Radio Times instead, much better.

Interviews with whoever is hanging around the RTE studios the day before it goes to press, same as how the late late guests are picked.

I thought that was just in our house! Within hours its always comes off. Back before the internet it was always great excitement flicking through the films list seeing when Indiana Jones was on.

I bought it this year. It's a tradition. But I've realised that it's the same thing every year. The content doesn't really change, except that there's less of it this year. I don't use it for the actually TV listings part so I probably wont buy it next year. They have all the films for the Christmas period listed out though so that's quite handy.

My folks stopped buying the RTE Guide once they discovered teletext all those years ago.

Yes. It's worth it for the film quiz alone - so bastard hard!

I had this debate with the Mrs the other day. She buys it every year; and every year nobody reads it. Waste of money in my opinion.
