According to the recorded message when you ring ESB Networks, it's affecting Blanchchardstown, Blanch Village, Coolmine, Castleknock, Clonsilla. It says they don't have an estimated time for when power will be restored.

Does anyone know if Blanchardstown shopping centre is affected?

Don't want to chance the walk down there if the shops mightn't be open!

Well the village seemed fine when I was at Superquinn around 12. Only noticed traffic lights being out south towards Carpenterstown.

Sure call one of the stores and ask.

Smyths toy shop and units on that side of the centre are out. The Carpenter and all the shops gone as well. Think Fernleigh is out but we're in Luttrellstown and the lights are still on!!

The entire side of the centre that Debenhams is on was gone in the old part, shops opposite them were fine, as was the new part down towards M&S. They all got power back at 1pm though (was up there myself when it happened), so should be fine now

EDIT: Power just came back in Stationcourt/Mochtas area this minute.

I was walking the dog when it came back on, about 20 alarms all going off at once. Spooked both me and the pooch out.

It was cutting in and out at the Topaz at the Coolmine Industrial Estate at about 8pm when I stopped there on my way home. They had to close the pumps and had difficulty taking card payments.
