Commerical tax on a jeep for 1st time

    Im currently thinking of buying a jeep for myself and I'm wondering about commerical tax. I come from a farm but my brother has his van already commerical taxed using the family herd number and I don't think I'm allowed use it. A friend who has a herd number says I can use his as he has a car only.
    1. Can I use my friends herd number with his consent and do we need to fill out any forms to do so?
    2.If I can't use my friends how many vehicle can be taxed with just one herd number??

    Any help greatly appreciated

    You should be able to tax more than one vehicle commercially, 4x4 to tow in offroad conditions and a van to carry stuff?
    I'd use the same number and explain it this way.

    Thanks I know the Tax offices are breaking fellows hearts in areas where maybe the same herd number is used to tax 2 vehicles commericaly.
