Experience ordering from Dell website ?

    Ordered a laptop from Dell.ie at the start of this month. At first they said the estimated delivery is 5th Dec. I got an email from them with a revised estimated delivery date of 9th Dec after couple days. Then after few days again i get an email from them saying estimated delivery is revised to 19th Dec. Then yesterday again I got an email saying the estimated delivery date is revised to 27th Dec. The reason was "further delay at our suppliers". No stock shortage information was given at the product page while I was ordering. Now I can't cancel my order as well since the order have moved to "pre-production" stage. I ordered the laptop in the first place as a Christmas present. Bit annoyed now :(. Anyone else have similar experience or is it just my bad luck ?

    The same thing happened to me...........9 years ago:D When I finally got it mid Jan I got about €800 worth of upgrades mainly an extreme edition processor which I couldn't utilize because of the motherboard.

    Just a quick update: I got the laptop delivered to me on 16th. There was no problem with the product and its working smoothly. So all is well !! :)
