60's Merc Replacement Exhaust

I need to replace the exhaust on my 1967 Mercedes W113 Pagoda.

Does anyone have recommendations of where to source?

I've made a few enquiries from the dedicated Classic W113 suppliers in UK and Germany (SLS, Niemoller, etc.) and was surprised at the high prices (€1k). Has anyone found any cheaper options?

    Thanks

Have you tried your local MB dealer? They are not as expensive as everyone thinks and you will get the genuine article and not something that looks like it!

I found Frankie Nolan Motor Factors in Limerick, very good at getting parts for old Mercs, his No.. 061 319111, they are very helpful.

I got one for my 230SL from Italy made from inox steel. Nice rasp from it but not too boomy. Wherever you go ensure you give them both engine and chassis numbers as there are slight changes to the manifold down pipe connections.

Did you source those from Socrim? Is he still in business (I only say because it has been a while since I heard mention of him)

    Thanks

Yes I've seen these guys advertise - Google ads are effective! I'll give them a call to see what they have to say...

Does anyone have experience using them for a complete exhaust replacement on an older (i.e. 1960's) car?

For info. I also tried Bosal, Otto, GSF, Euro Car Parts but no joy - parts not available for the W113
I wasn't really surprised in most cases, but had hoped that if I got a match that it would be at a good price.

I'll try the suggestions mentioned. Thanks
