Would 100mm spiral steel ducting suffice for most MHRV systems? Just trying to plan the service cavity and am torn between 150mm and 200mm depth. If have to go to 150mm duct then obviously the service cavity will have to increase.

No - well it all depends on airflow and design

some systems use narrower pipes with higher airspeed (which means more noise) and others use wider ducts and slower airspeed (which means more space)

also the ducts nearer the machine will need to be bigger than the ones at the far end

suggest you get a design done and then decided on cavity
