Hi

I have just been informed I am being made homeless with immediate effect (today). I get JSA and get €144 per week.

Currently the only place I have to stay temporarily is with my boyfriend, but it is not a long term solution as 1) he does not live alone and 2) my jsa would be based on his income, and his income per week would not be enough to pay rent/bills/buy food etc for us both. He can barely afford to pay for himself, let alone anyone else.

On €144 I wouldn't have enough to pay rent, bills and buy food etc, so I'm wondering if there is any help I can get?

Has a landlord or family asked you to move out?
Do you receive rent allowance?
