Needs to par the 9th (his last) in South Africa for a 59.

Would it be the first on European tour ever?

And I see there is a guy called Colin Nel also -11 after 17 but he is playing the 18TH!

    Both did it. Incredible achievement.
I have no idea of the difficulty of the course but the cut is predicted at -1 right now.

ESPN are saying both rounds won't count due to preferred lies, course was very soft.

Still goes down as tours first 59 no matter what!

Fair enough, a 59 is a great achievement, but a * will have to go beside it.
