Fixed Assets US GAAP - CAPITALISATION

I can't remember if support costs can be capitalised in US GAAP for say Computer Hardware. eg I buy a server for 10K and I buy the premium support option for 2K. SUpport included call out for repair/replacement etc. Can I capitalise this fixed support cost in US GAAP? Thanks - Its been a while since I looked into FA.
