    Folks
Have a PS3 and am tempted by the PS4, funds dictate that I can't have both so would you trade in your against a new PS4 or try and sell private?

    Many thanks

Not a hope, maybe in a year or so but the PS3 has an established library of great games. So unless you've played everything on it you want to, I get rid of it just yet

    Wait and save up.
There's not a lot on the PS4 that warrants a must have at the moment.
There is plenty of life in the PS3.

Put a few quid away each week and pick up a PS4 this time next year.
There will be a decent catalogue of games available then.

Think I'll wait til next year . Thing is I have a PS3 but am not a gamer . Used to be but lost interest . It's more a media player for me now , I'd be lost with out it . So I'll probably just be getting it to have another Blu Ray player . I can easily wait for the price to drop and avoid all the madness at the moment .

not worth trading in anyway(85 quid in gamestop) private sale is just a psain in the hole, better to hold on ps+ will make it worth your while bud

I wouldn't unless you don't care much for your library of games and have no intention of ever coming back to any of them. I'd throw €20 a week off a New PS4 and buy one in about 6 months when there'll be a better library out for the next gen consoles.

    That's just me though :)

No way. So many great games still on PS3.

Both my PS3 and PS4 sit happily next to each other beside my tv. It would be a shame to split them up.

im selling mine privately for 70 euros its only the 40gb version and i only paid 40 for it and my buyer doesnt want it till after new year which means i get to hold it for a bit longer cant see the ps4 getting much use if i have no money to get games for it

Nope, would keep the PS3, great games coming out next year, I have had a PS4 since launch and have not played it in over a week, finished all the games that interested me and probably will not go back to it till some new games are out, I know I will be playing the PS3 far more next year than the PS4.
