I'm waiting on a package from an Irish ebay seller dispatched on the 11th Dec. Still no sign of it. (I'm in Cork).

    Anyone else having delays?

Its December, the postal service of pretty much every country is extremely busy this time of year

It actually varies from country to country as a lot of continental European countries don't send anything like the volume of cards that we do.

In general in English-speaking countries Xmas traditions are similar and the postal systems are under huge strain to deliver vast quantities of greetings cards.

Both the Irish and British systems will also be way busier handling online shopping orders too.

If an item was dispatched on 11th December it may not have caught the post on time either and could have only left on the 12th so it might arrive later today or on Monday.
