Donadea Forest is great. It is done really nicely with fairy lights and a wooden hut in the forest.

Just be aware though that if you go at the weekend the queues are pretty long and move very slowly. Having said that, being a forest there is plenty of room for the kids to run around. There is a also a little cafe right beside the Santa hut. Santa costs 13e and the presents are generally quite good.

Don't go in the main entrance to the forest - it will cost you another 5e to get in to park. If you go a bit further down the road there is a place where they are selling Christmas trees and you can get into the forest from there.

I highly recommend Lullymore in Rathangan.

    Lullymore all the way.

Wife and kids were there today.

3 decent prezzies, very good santa, all elves dressed up, snow indoors. All in all, very good reports from them all.
