Job Seeker Allowance not paid this week?

    Hi everyone,
    I've just started my JobBridge internship last Monday. I know that my 50 euro top up will be paid 2 weeks after my internship. My Jobseeker Allowance is usually paid on Tuesdays. However yesterday after internship I went to the post office to collect my JSA only to be told that I don't have my JSA paid this week. Please help me because the place I do my internship currently is quite far from the post office where I'm supposed to collect my JSA. It will be a hassle for me to go back and forth after work (internship) (I finish at 5pm- 2 hours commute).

    I could be wrong but is it not usually paid into your bank while you are on an internship? Have to checked you bank account?

    Hopefully it should show up in your bank account this week. However, you are entitled to time off from your internship to attend to Social Welfare matters and that would certainly include finding out about your payment.
