Hi Folks,
A family member had being using her Chinese quad core android phone on the Vodafone network for a few weeks with not problems, how ever there was a miner bug which she was anxious to sort out, even with the phone muted it would sound a loud ringtone whenever she got a text & this was causing problems in the college library, she googled for a solution & found someone with the exact same problem, the solution was to do a factory reset which she did & yes indeed the problem is sorted,..alas there is now a new problem as she can make or receive calls or texts & when she enters her pin code she gets the message "CONNECTION PROBLEM OR INVALID MMI CODE" but the phone still recognizes the Vodafone sim & lists the correct Vodafone settings in the settings menu,........any ideas
