Mcilroy talking in the press about recently finding for him the best ball driver combo ever got me thinking that it must work the other way too.
What I'm saying is I believe that you will find a ball that just works well sometimes and maybe it's not your swing working or whatever maybe that combo works well.

Idk really if there's anything into it, I think there might be I wanted to see what people thought.

Btw the point that mcilroy was talking about two new products isn't lost on me but I still think its worth talking about.

I think you are over thinking it. I find that if I hit the fairway then I'm happy without worrying about the finer details of whether I could have got three yards more.

At McIlroy's level its fine tuning to gain or lose a couple of hundred rpm or half a degree of launch.
Not really an issue for the vast, vast majority of golfers.

I found an rbz urethane recently. The thing hung in the air forever. Of course I cannot get them anymore. It definitely went further than a pro v1 x for me.
