Probably a long shot, but seen a thread on here before about workers buses or ghost workings early in the mornings.

Need to get from Dublin 5 (Kilbarrack/Donaghmede area) to town for 8ish on Stephen's Day.

Earliest bus is the 8.10 27a from Kilbarrack, but wondering if anyone knows if theres a workers bus that would be earlier, as I've seen the odd 32 coming down from Donaghmede picking people up at ungodly hours on some mornings!

    Not on Sundays I'm afraid.

The earliest would seem to be the 27a which would get you to Talbot Street for about 08:30 (modified route from Kilbarrack at 08:10) or the 29a for about 08:50 (from Baldoyle at 08:20).

It's ridiculous that on many major Dublin Bus routes it's not possible to make into town for a 9am start. I'd probably make an exception for St. Stephen's Day, but in general most bus routes should start earlier on a Sunday than they currently do.

Just to underline where Dublin Bus SHOULD be looking to for a bit of inspiration as to how to generate business.....read and weep

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
