Im just wondering which one of these are good books to get for my Dad Originally from Kerry and was a primary school teacher (so he knows a lot about a lot).

If he hasn't yet read Bryan MacMahon, I'd suggest getting your dad his collection of short stories, "The Lion Tamer and Other Stories". MacMahon was a Kerry schoolteacher as well.
