Zippy Boots

    Hey guys,

Just looking for a bit of info on zippy boots. My girlfriend has mentioned wanting Uggs before but not wanting to pay for the price of them. I even asked her would she like them as a present but she said she couldn't justify the price, that she'd prefer a few smaller things that might add up to same value.

I saw the Zippy Boots for sale for around €80 on Groupon. I'm just wondering if these are a good alternative to Uggs or are they just another cheap knock off.

    Thanks for any help.

I have two pairs, love 'em! They use real sheepskin and were the only things able to keep my feet warm and dry in the snow of 2010.

Thanks so much for your reply. Do you think they'd be a good alternative to Uggs? Would you get good wear from them? Would you be happy enough to get them as a Christmas present? :P

I think so, they'd be similar quality IMO, just depends on whether she's fussed on the designer tag or not. I'm such a fan I bought a pair for my sister last Christmas!

I think you've got to pay heed to your girlfriend here. The real question is if she wants the UGG label. If so, then bite the bullet and buy them.

If not, then there are alternatives (though I wouldn't be buying from Groupon so close to Christmas), and you can then use the balance of the money to buy other gifts.

Thanks for the help guys. I bit the bullet anyway, hopefully they'll be arriving before Christmas. As you said Dudara, I can use the balance to buy other gifts which I think is nicer. I'll let you know how things go :)
