Home Renovation Incentive - Driveway

    I was quoted €6,500 plus VAT to have a driveway constructed at the front of my home (principal private residence). My understanding is that this would be qualifying expenditure under the Home Renovation Incentive Scheme. However, on the revenue website there is only mention of buildings - attic, extensions, garages etc. Could anyone shed some light as to whether driveways, gardens etc. would qualify.
