Can anyone tell me if fees for a 3rd level course are an allowable business expense for a Ltd company employee (non-director) ?

    Hi

It depends on what the course is.

If it is connected with the business in question then it is an allowable expense. If it is not connected then it may still be allowable but there would be BIK implications and taxable in the hands of the employee.

It may also be allowable as a tax credit if it is a revenue recognised course.

    Regards
