    Hello everyone,
My school has just purchased iPads. I was going to the usual sites for educational games, but these are mostly driven by flash.... So I googled browsers that will support flash games on the iPad.
2 suggestions - Photon or Puffin

Can anyone share some light on either if you use them in your school!

    THANKS :)

    Hi there,
I wouldn't usually be on this forum, but I thought it'd be worth giving you a response from the tech side of things :)

The iPad simply isn't designed to support Flash, and these "Flash" browsers for iPad can be quite messy, as they have to resort to quirky methods in order to get Flash running. The games' framerates will generally suffer as a result. As well as this, Flash games aren't designed to be played on touchscreens, which can lead to problems.

However, I would definitely look at downloading educational game apps from the App Store. There are loads of them, and you'll have no problem finding ones for children of all ages.

Sorry that I didn't give the answer you wanted (hopefully someone else can name the best Flash browser), but I would strongly recommend you look for some educational apps!
