Fragrance Direct, will they re-send?

    Just asking this on behalf of a friend.

    She ordered perfume from Fragrance Direct on November 24th and the next day she got an email saying the order had been dispatched.
    It did say on their website that it can take from 14-30 days to deliver to Ireland but I reckoned she'd get it well before then.

    With no sign of it, she emailed them and they said she should have received it around now.

    What happens if she doesn't receive it?
    Will they re-send it?
    She can't prove she hasn't received it.

    The onus is on the company that sent it to prove it was delivered.

    Did they use a tracked delivery service ?

    No. All she has is her reference number which she was given when she made the purchase.
    They've emailed her to say it should be with her now but she still hasn't received it.

    Like I said, she ordered on the 24th November and the following day, received an email to say it had been dispatched.
    It's the 13th December now and there's still no sign.

    Funnily enough I ordered Cologne from an online site in UK during November.
    Got email to say order had been received and payment processed. When 5 days had passed and I had not received it I sent a simple one line email asking if the item had been shipped. I was replied to within an hour with an apology saying the courier had misplaced it, but they would quickly resend the order along with some free samples as an apology. Two days later the courier delivered both packages, as in the "lost" one and the replacement at the same time.
