Was just wondering how completely new schools recruit their staff. There will be one beside me in sept 2014. I assume there are only 100 odd first years at first so wont the school be very small? Anyone experience with this?

I think it is at different times. I know the principal always get recruited a good year in advance! Someone told me the greystones school are recruiting spring 2014. I am nearly sure that the new one in drogheda have already advertised for teachers. I think the competition will be very very tough! I know of teachers who have CIDS/permanent who are teaching 10+ years will be applying to the new schools shorten their commute to work as during the boom they bought houses in commuter towns.
