What I want out of the phone: Mainly entertainment, A phone capable of playing movies on netflix with no problem, games and the like.

What features are important to you in a phone? Decent camera would be a +

Form factor - I prefer bigger and bulkier phones, and touch screen.

    Internet - Wifi

    Operator - Doesn't matter.

    Pre-pay/Bill-pay/SIM-Free - Pre-pay or unlocked.

    Price range: €200 Max

Moto G. Insane amount of phone for €149. Only downside is the camera is not the best.

Have to agree with the Moto G. Awesome phone for the price.

Just be aware that there's no option with the Moto G to add an SD/micro SD for additional storage so try to stretch to the 16gb if you want the capacity for games.

Apart from lack of available apps compared to android (it has almost all the ones anyone would need) what is it exactly about WP8 that isn't great? Apart from speed, stability and ease of use?

Just realised you were the OP. You should look at getting a Nexus 4.
