Blurting out random things

Hi, not sure if this is the right place but was wondering if anyone experiences or experienced something similar.
Basically, when I get an unwelcome or embarrassing thought into my head, I'll blurt out something random, sometimes aggressive or swearing. It usually only happens when I'm alone, although there's been a couple of times there's been people around and I've had to try and hide what I was saying or hope they didn't notice. Also noticed I seem to do it more when hungover. It's like I do it to stop the thought or something. Has anyone had anything similar or come across ways to reduce or control it?

    Thanks

I'm sorry OP - but your post is just going to result in posters giving you a diagnosis which is against our charter. The best and only thing we can advise here is for you to go and talk to your GP and list out when this happens and how you feel when it occurs.

Sorry we cannot be of more help.
