Fair enough. Most threads are looking to play rock, metal or indie stuff, so having done that, "something different" would be more funk, electronic, pop, just to keep it interesting

I'm looking for a bass player for my band based in the North County Dublin/East Meath area. We rehearse in Balbriggan every week. Ages range from 32 to 45 years old.

Songs in our set include the likes of The Who, The Coronas, Tom Petty, Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Tracey Chapman, Blondie.

We're interested in playing gigs but cash isn't king.

Cult1973 I would be up for doing stuff like Simple Minds, Propaganda, Heaven 17 is that what u are thinking of ? I mean Early Eighties electronic stuff ...I am a Guitarist Bassist but I am considering getting Electronic Keyboard Equipment...I mean Keyboards...Moogs, Roland Jupiters etc. I am a 37 and willing to relocate ( this aint at all a problem) that is if u take the thing serious and its not about tossing around in a shed.....money isnt that important but would need to be a motivation.....if it fails it fails but I would put my effort in if required
