    Hi all

I'm looking for a pair of womens leather Chelsea boots, dark brown with a flat heel, comfy for walking, waterproof and with a worn look.....so have you seen anything like that anywhere?! :o:)

I purchased a pair of Chelsea boots from Asos recently. Really happy with the quality and were as described. Found sizing on the big side but otherwise perfect.

bnagrrl - I have been looking for a pair of flat brown leather Chelsea boots for absolutely ages!

I bought this pair from asos in my usual size a while back, but sadly I couldn't get them on my feet so I donated them to my sister who's half a shoe size smaller than me.

I have tried on pairs in the mens' section of several shops (androgynous dressing, wha!:P) as I feel the ones in the womens' sections were a bit meh or non-existent. The mens pairs in my size were massive though - both in length and width, even though I opted for my usual size or a half size down. Lesson learnt!

Dune have a fantastic selection atm - so they might be an option for you. I really like this pair

I'm not sure what type your after (heeled, flat, colour etc.), but I bought this pair yesterday from amazon, that hopefully will do the job for a while. They weren't super expensive either

Edit: I just re-read your post their op, wherein you said that you wanted "Chelsea boots, dark brown with a flat heel"!! :pac: I must have missed that! The tuffa boots i ordered above are tan brown so I'm not sure if they're actually what you're looking for.

I was going to suggest equestrian brands - which Tuffa are. Blundstones are nice too.

I quite like these ones from new look, they also have a few different pairs in at the minute.

SmallTeapot - those ones from ASOS are lovely, pity they don't come in brown!

Those ones from amazon look nice, please report back if you can! :)

Yeah I have rubber jodhpur boots but don't find them comfy for hours walking. Blundstones look look good, a little practical looking maybe more than stylish though. I'll check does my saddler stock them.

    Hi bnagrrl

The asos ones come in oxblood, but no brown. In the pictures, they look like a dark brown to me though :P

I will indeed report back on the boots when they arrive; here's hoping they suit - I'm a fussy customer!

Debenhams have a good selection. They have online discounts most of the time.

I got 50% off a pair of the Jasper Conran ones a couple of weeks ago. :)

I don't know if any of them have a variant in the worn look you are looking for though.

The tuffa boots arrived from Amazon today and I'm quite impressed. They're actually a dark brown as opposed to tan which I was originally looking for, but I must say I like them. They're very well made, would be absolutely superb for walking. So on first impressions (and after 2 hours wear), I recommend.
