    Hi was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for groups or clubs in the Sligo area. Finding the evening long and you don't really meet new people at fitness classes. Thanks

    Some people complain there's not much to do but..... :-)

    Drama (Sligo Drama Circle etc)
    Sligo Choral Society
    Angling Society
    Toastmasters
    Surf club Strandhill
    Surf Lifesaving Club
    Triathlon Club
    GAA - St Marys St Johns Etc
    Football - Local Clubs, Astroleague in Showgrounds, Indoor at Complex etc...

    there's more but i can't think of them, if you get invovled in the club it's a great way to get to know people, as you say, just taking part in a 20 min abs session is no use for that. good luck
