    can anyone help ;over the last week or so i noticed when i changed channel a popup would appear 'bad or no signal' then a second later the channel would tune;then last night a lot of channels missing;today no upgrade to the bbc hd channels;so ? [stupidly] i decided to do a freesat scan; and it was so slow it finally stopped;it told me no signal and told my post code was 'wrong';and now its not responding;what to do?

    I'm guessing either your dish needs realignment or the tuner needs replacing in your box.
    What's the make & model ?

    Its possible the LNB on the dish is faulty, or the cables are damaged

    Try your box at a friends / neighbours house to see if it is the box or your dish setup to blame.
