    Hi all,

I currently have bikes and a car and was wondering if anyone had any pointers on insurance that will cover all. I remember some companies doing a six wheel deal. The renewal dates for the separate policies, I have now are months apart and I have a second bike ( vintage road tax) that I would like to have some cover on.

Liberty and a few others do a discount if you insure both, but usually you'll find two seperate companies that do it cheaper

I got a six wheel quote from Liberty which was €320 dearer than separate quotes from Carol Nash and NoNonsense. I'm not sure if there is a company out there that would compete with the quotes from separate companies. It makes sense for them to do so, after all if you can't drive the two vehicles at the same time so by definition one of them is always lying idle.

Really we should only have to pay for fire and theft for both vehicles and then what ever vehicle has the most expensive third party/fully comp we should pay just that. Saving us from having to pay third party/fully comp on two vehicles that will never be driven at the same time.
