Does anyone have any models, links or suggestions for me? I've been out of touch for a while when it comes to media players. I never used one before with an internal drive. I know WD used to have a WD TV Live hub, but this doesn't seem to be around.
    Any help appreciated.

    It's still on the go

Has no wifi though so you'll need to cable it to your router.

You can add wifi according to that?

I wish they'd use better names for the different versions/editions

They used, they tend to be moving away from that. Allowing you to connect to other storage, via wifi, Ethernet or usb.

Sorry if I am hijacking the thread here but I have a similar query. I can start a new thread if that is preferable?

Anyway, I had a Iomega Screenplay (one of the earlier models, not Director) which is now dead. I still have all the movies, music, etc. and want a similar device to replace the Screenplay. Having read some reviews, people are saying stay away from the newer versions of Screenplay. Can someone please recommend a suitable replacement?

All the similar products now seem a bit over the top for what I want. I am not worried about internet or streaming or anything like that, I basically want a hard drive that I can save all the movies on which I can then plug into the tv at my/girlfriends/mates/parents place (bearing in mind not all will be HD) and watch a movie from the hard drive. Thanks in advance, any advise is much appreciated.
