I saw that fitz said the amount of time a dentist spends working is very important. I was wondering how long it would be expected to do a composite filling for a bottom back molar?

The dentist has a 30 minute apt window for me and I wonder if that's too short to do the filling

Depends on the size of the filling. Could take 20 minutes could take 1 hour 20 minutes. 30 minutes for a small to medium filling is more than enough.
