UK qualified teacher looking to move back to Dublin

I'm a Maths teacher who has been living and working in Manchester for the last three years. The teaching council has approved me to teach Maths and CSPE (not the most valuable subject, I know!) to Leaving Cert Level. I'm currently in a permanent job in a challenging school. I do like it, it's just that I think three years is long enough to be away from home. I have several questions about moving back to Dublin!

What are my realistic chances of getting a job just teaching Maths; does this ever happen?

Is there a specific time of year where more jobs are advertised (e.g. in UK, jobs start to be advertised in January)

I'm currently registered to educationposts.ie and receive email alerts about employment (so I'm aware that there are not that many jobs out there). Is there any other website that I should register to?

Are all jobs actually advertised (I'm pretty sure it's a legal requirement to advertise in the UK) or is it more a case of who you know?

Any advice at all would be really welcome! :)

    Hi there,
was in the same position as you last year, had to apply for a lot of jobs for someone to give me a chance as a lot of people don't look too favorably on UK based experience (personally I've found it really useful as the kids and work load are much better here). Eventually I managed to get a position with full hours so am extremely lucky (was offered 3 Science jobs in the end), obviously there is no security here, I could be replaced or my hours could be reduced by the end of the year, but for me its a chance worth taking as I love being home and the school I'm in. Good luck with your decision:)
