    Hi,

    Living in the celbridge area.

    I was checking Magnet.ie:

    I see 2 products:

    fatpipe-70 / 46.99 euros
    fatpipe-24/ 36 euros

When I enter my number it says I have access to 24 MB for 46.99 euros ..

    Could you please explain?

    Thanks,

The link to the procing is: https://www.magnet.ie/pricing/
I see 36.99 and no mention of special price for new customers which anyway I am.

I am a potential new customer

Stay away from them - they are a disaster. Also, they appear to be limiting their customers to a download speed of 5Mbps at the moment for very questionable reasons. I'm leaving them this week because of it - have a search around this forum and you'll see what I mean.

I'm getting FTTC soon I would never go near Magnet or Digiweb. Their packages are terrible compared to Eircom and Vodafone.

    fatpipe 24 is fttc
the 24mb you're being offered is magnet stream an adsl service not vdsl

There is definitely something broken in their network, their own speedtest gives results that vary between 17m and 28m download on VDSL (line sync is 70m on modem) but speedtest.net gives 4.6m

I also absolutely recommend against magnet. They are a joke. Go with Vodafone / eircom or upc.

Stay away from Magnet, they really truly are a joke, their technical support is non existent.
