    Hows she cuttin folks, im new to the pc tech area and just looking for a bit of feedback on where to go and what not. I have always been stuck in front of a tv playing video games and would'nt mind having a crack at making my own. Iv been looking into courses but priority number 1 is the work station which is where my questions are.

    1. I have a dell desktop that is not being used it is about 9 years old is it possible to replace the old components with a new ones or would i need a new desktop altogether?

    2. what would be the best components to run hd games and programmes like maya autodesk?

    any advice or suggestion welcome and appreciated

    1. What is your budget? as much as it costs to have d best machine

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? HD Gaming, gaming production (maya autodesk), film production, basic music recording

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? eh id say so yeah latest or whatevers best

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? moniter keyboard and desktop/modem

    5. Do you need a monitor? no

    5a. If yes, what size do you need

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals?

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? eh what?

    8. How can you pay? visa debit

    9. When are you purchasing? just looking around first to see what i need

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? north dublin
