Pretty sure it's the higher one as it comes with aerocino!

Claim a Nespresso Gift Card up to £70 in Value
Nespresso are offering a £40 gift card when you purchase an espresso only machine and a £70 gift card when you purchase a cappuccino machine by January 31, 2014

Nespresso promotions are always cons. The price is upped during it.

So if you pay 120, you get a 40 euro voucher. However once the promotion ends the price will be 80 euro. That's why they are always so strict with dates.

At least with amazon it's pretty easy to track any artificial price hikes:

I bought a Citiz from Amazon for £100; I tracked the historical price with CamelCamelCamel and it hasn't been upped.
I'll get €50 worth of coffee from Nespresso.

    Excellent bargain.

After the 80 euro it's the same price as Harvey Norman was when I got a machine for the misses last January. At the moment its 40 euro dearer, than it was in December , but last December you only got a 40 voucher

how much did you get it for at HN...when you apply the £5 discount mentioned another thread it works out at under €120 and you get €80 voucher

Debenhams in cork had 10% off last weekend on Nespresso machines, herself wanted the cream Citiz with Aerochino. Didnt have one instock but we got the display model for an additional 10% off. All in all unit cost us 158E and with 80E in vouchers confirmed in a couple of weeks from the Nespresso Club.
    I am a convert - savage coffees.

I have applied for this promotion after purchasing few days ago Nespresso machine on Amazon UK. It went through, but I'm still waiting for them to verify my application and send me voucher. Promotion lasts until end of January I think, so if you want to wait unspecified time I can post update on my claim here later.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,977 ✭✭✭johnny_adidas

one thing to bear in mind is if your kitchen is short on sockets, that model requires 2. Picked up the combined Citiz and Aerochino (M190 which requires 1 socket) last week on amazon for £149 sterling, and notice its now gone up to £169 (as have a few other things i had in my basket). have signed up for club but havent done anymore about the vouchers yet.

OP - The link you posted, I'm seeing £80 for used machines. Is that correct?

They are from the Amazon warehouse,i have bought stuff from there before including a smart TV.Great savings on what are essentially boxed damaged products but perfect otherwise, only slight downside is you only get a months warranty but IMO worth it when big savings are on offer

That is a very nicely worded Pfo letter. I had the some sh$t last year from them. I bought a machine in France for €70 with a €50 voucher. Thought I would have a very cheap Pixie for the caravan, but they refused to honour the voucher. Still a cheap coffee maker but they seem to only honor vouchers in the country of purchase ???

Yeah, bit disappointing. I will probably end up getting basic model for €99 so my father in law will get the €50 giftcard.

But if Amazon.co.uk one worked I could get same model and an aerochino for pretty much same price with gift card(if it was valid!)

If you look at previous post you will see some posts claimed they got the giftcard from o/s purchase

Registered mine as a gift through the ROI site after buying from amazon.co.uk & currently waiting for the verification email.

Does the above suggest I should have registered on the uk site as it was purchased there? Would there be any issue with registering on both as the offer will nearly be over if I wait for the 4 weeks to see if ROI honour it?

They don't care where you bought it, the T and C relate to the country of residence.

For anyone who availed of this, or got a Nespresso for Christmas, you might be interested to know that Home & Cook in the Kildare Outlet are selling off Aeroccino 3s for €36.99. Almost half RRP.

Had planned to use my voucher to go towards one of these. Will be keeping it for buying pods now!

I got my €80 gift card as well and I bought machine on amazon.co.uk for about €59 - so they accept UK purchased machines in this promotion.

Anyway I have this Aeroccino device and it can be easily replaced with item like that:
    http://dx.com/p/mini-electric-stirrer-mixer-whisk-for-egg-juice-coffee-white-2-x-aa-181331
and ability to heat milk. It would seem that having both devices in one is more convenient but once a washing time comes you would find it worse, as cannot be put into dishwasher.
