    Hi guys,
I have a 2005 corolla verso and the door check strap has worn a groove throught the runner for the window which is causing the glass to come out of the track when you let it down.
Just wondering if it is possible to get the runner seperate, would hate to have to get a whole new door.
Have nct on Thursday but will this effect it???
    Thanks

Be careful closing the door with the window down, we had an old model verso smash 2 windows from the check strap hitting the glass.

In short, anything that isn't working like designed could potentially be a nct fail.
This is what NCT will look for http://www.ncts.ie/NCT%20Manual%20Revise%20May%202012.pdf

Failed nct this morning on above.window came down but not up properly.
Lucky thing is only a visual inspection so no charge next time.
Will strip it down on sat and have a look at it and post pic!!!

The window frame is available as a replacement part, not cheap though about 80 euro, The check strap sounds like its been bent usually from a gust of wind catching it and bending it.
I'd budget for a new checkstrap as well or at least one from a breaker.

Cheers for that.I actually took it out this am and welded the frame and grinded it down.Working like a dream now so will head back to the nct centre later in the week for cert.
