No claims cert??

Is there a way of getting my no claims bonus cert, rather than going through the last insurance company I was with?

Briefly, I had car insurance for over 10 yrs and no accidents - over a year ago, I decided to go on my partners insurance as a named driver. For the life of me, I can't remember who I was insured with on my own, with my own car prior to that - I got it through one of those online brokers, and think it was one of two insurance companies, but don't want to ring them and sound like an eejit!

I now need my ncb cert for insurance on my own car again - is there any other way of getting it?

    Thanks

    I dont think so, no.

How did you pay for the insurance? Could you go back through credit card/bank statements and see if you can find the broker?
