Does anyone know what date goes on the sale date of a property. The reason I`m asking is that I have just agreed to purchase a commercial building and I`m hoping to get the sale date through before 2014 even though its unlikely to be paid for until mid to late Jan 2014 Is the sale date the date at which you sign contracts…

Is the sale date the date at which you sign contracts or is it when the property is paid in full ??
