Is it worth buying a small Van

Both myself and herself are PAYE, we also both have additional small business that generate income. We run two private cars. Would it be benifecial from taxation at some stage to buy a small van for business purposes, a friend said that lease payments etc would be tax efficient for the business.. Any ideas or advice??…
