Jobseekers, Fas and Repeating Leaving cert exam

Okay, a bit of history first.
I've been on jobseekers for nearly two months now(only turned 18 a few months ago) and was offered a long enough fas course.
I said on my application that I was going to be returning to education next year, so that's not an issue, but, at the time I didn't know which course I wanted to do, and now I've figured it out, and I failed the one subject I needed for the course, and there is no way around it but repeating it.
I realise that on jobseekers allowance you can't repeat the leaving cert from home because you have to be "genuinely looking for employment" but having said that, now that I'll be doing the fas course, I'm not expected to be looking for a job until I've completed it(not over until august), so would it be acceptable for me to study the single leaving cert subject while doing the fas course and take the exam without breaking the rules and jeopardising my claim?

    Discuss the matter with FAS.
