Bit far from me I suppose. I had a burned out motor in the lancia and I was told it was fixable but would cost more than a replacement, that's assuming you can get a replacement.
I was fortuneate enough to find a second hand one down you're way as it happens, if you can't get one I'll give you the number of the guy here.

cheers for the offer.can probably get hold of a s/h one.was just trying to save one from the scrap heap but was told it cold cost upto £110 for a rewind etc.
