Didn't really know where else to post this but anyway.
Was planning on ordering a headset and keyboard from Dabs and was just wondering if anybody had any problems with them or anything like that. I know there are other posts about this but they're like 2-3 years old and I just wanted to know if things had changed. Thanks :)

I used to use them quite a bit a while ago. Never had a problem with new items, but did have a couple of significant issues when I bought some refurb / used items.

Bought off them a few times. Always been ok for me, and if needed the customer service team are quick to reply.

I bought all my parts for my new pc off them a couple of weeks ago, ordered on Friday and had delivery on Monday. No problems at all with them.

I always seem to have some problem with them ..... last one was an overcharge of a small amount ...... which they refused to credit to me until after the goods were delivered and accepted.

I got pee'd off with them and ended up threatening to take the matter further but eventually got the refund (the month after I had to pay it on the CC).

It seems there is always something ..... but nothing big enough to really blow up about.

Nevertheless it is an annoyance I could do without.

Cool, from what yee are saying they don't sound too bad to order from. I've had similar experiences with Amazon so I suppose it can't be avoided really. Cheers lads, really appreciate your feedback! Oh and what is ebay like to order from? Never really trusted that website and I don't know why

It all depends on the Seller with ebay realy, but if you order through Paypal using a credit card, you would have a few additional layers of protection if anything went wrong.

    i use them abit.
got caught out once, where it said a case was in stock, and would be delivered in x days.

checked back later, out of stock, no delivery date.....

cancelled it , bought it off maplin instead.
in generall though, they have been ok. i still order off them...

ebay is a market place or a collection of many sellers, rather than being one seller. Sellers are all rated by previous customers (see the star symbol next to their name). Experiences will vary widely depending on the seller, many are excellent, some are not.

I bought a PC case from Dabs,, It arrived today and it was all smashed up..
When I gave them a call (UK Number) they asked me to send some pics,, I did that.
Now I have to send the case back and they will then send me out a replacement case..

It's a bit of a downer,, but we will see how it goes..

I tried to order a motherboard from them back in 07 or 08. The order was pending for over a week, and I couldn't get any resolution from the on-line chat web app they have (or used to have). After numerous frustrating attempts to get my order dispatched I gave up and cancelled the order. I told the last customer support guy I contacted that I would never order anything from them again and I probably never will.

I ordered some fans and LED strips for my case - seemed fairly responsive with the confirmation emails etc - the only downside is they said my order had been shipped and gave me a reference number but no indication of the company they used to ship the parcel!!!! by a process of elimination I found it in the end! (putting the number into each of there listed shippers until one hit)

The most important thing to remember with Dabs is their stock checker can be a bit iffy.As a general rule of thumb if an item has 5 or less in stock dont order.
I have ordered quite a lot of gear from them and never had a problem.
However if say you order 5 items and one is out of stock you could be waiting weeks.
